In our Advent series this year we're focusing our attention on three different people that we find in the Christmas story. We're looking at how they say "yes" to the Holy Spirit and how that brought Hope, Peace, Joy & Love to their life.
Jake Mlsna (previous leader at Two Rivers and current Regional Leader at CRU in Milwaukee, WI) unpacked the story of the rich man found in Luke's gospel, encouraging the church in what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
Throughout the fall season we're going to unpack Romans (Paul's letter to the church in Rome), as we continue to develop a Kingdom Theology and look at all of life through a "gospel first" and "hope filled" lens.
Throughout the summer we're exploring what it looks like to live out John 15... abiding in Christ, living with Jesus at the center of our lives. This series is loosely based on our devotional "hi, God", which can be picked up at Two Rivers or ordered online.
We're thankful for the multi-generational church that Jesus is building at Two Rivers Vineyard Church. In this talk, David takes a look at Acts 2 & 3 as well as Hebrews 11 in unpacking the value of being a multi-generational church.
One of the ways that Jesus conveyed truth was through telling stories. The Bible calls them parables. The Bible uses the Greek word parabole, which means cast alongside of. Jesus communicated spiritual truths in the form of parables to communicate life transforming spiritual lessons. In this series we explore those life changing lessons.
We said goodbye to the Mlsna family and blessed them as they leave to lead CRU in Milwaukee, WI. David talked about kingdom generosity, how to live with open hands. We took a look at 2 Corinthians 8:1-7
"Let All Things Rise" is our Easter sermon series, celebrating the new life offered in Jesus!
Our Christian call is to love Christ, love His church and love His cause. We're going to do that by carrying out the Real Life & Real Hope found in Jesus. This talk takes a look at John 10 & Acts 3 and unpacks what that means.
Two important words than change your life are "but God". Simple words that pack a life changing truth. Moments that take us from one path and offer us a new course, providing a Kingdom trajectory for our life. In this series we're exploring "but God" moments found in the Bible and applying them to our lives.
In the first two messages of the new year, David looked back at 2018 and forward to 2019 and we celebrated a Child Dedication! In the first message, we focused on advancing the Kingdom of God through Community, Compassion & Collaboration. In the second message, along with the Child Dedication David introduced our new sermon series "but God". A great start to a new year!
